I just applied for membership. How long does it take for my membership to be active?
Your membership will be active once ITS Midwest has received payment. Credit card is the recommended payment method. If you paid by check, expect a delayed response: membership will be finalized upon check deposit.
As part of my membership, I can get instant access to premium content like the newsletter, the calendar with Events of Interest for members, archive materials from conferences, webinars and workshops, and more. Where do I find these resources?
Access the Members Area to find exclusive resources for members. You also can access the Members Area from every page of the ITS Midwest website either using the "Login" link in the top-right section of the header or the "MyITSMW" link in the bottom-right section of the footer.
Is a membership (new or renewed) active for one full year from the date of application, or does it expire at the end of the year in which the application was submitted?
Typically, the membership is active for the year in which you apply. Our bylaws do allow for those paying in October or later to be a member for the current year and the following year.
Bylaws - Membership Year. Annual dues shall be for the membership year of January 1 through December 31. Any new member joining on or after October 1 shall have their dues applied as full payment for the remainder of the current membership year and as full payment for the next membership year. Any new member joining between July 1 and September 30 may have their membership dues prorated in accordance with a policy adopted by the Board of Directors.
Corporate membership
What is a PCM or Primary Corporate Member?
A Primary Corporate Member (PCM) is the Corporate Membership primary point of contact for a company or organization, helping to coordinate membership renewals, keeping the organization corporate members list current, forwarding any member inquiries, etc. Each company or organization may have only one PCM. A PCM may only add members; members can be removed from a corporate membership only by ITS Midwest administrators.
How do I add colleagues to my organization / company members' list?
If you are a PCM, you can add colleagues employed by your organization to the members list via the Members Area. Once added to the organization roster, your colleagues will be able to take advantage of all our member benefits and access the Members Area of the ITS Midwest website. See Instructions for PCMs section of Member Area.
How do I remove colleagues who have left my organization / company from our membership roster?
For security reasons, only ITS Midwest admins can remove members. To remove one or more members from your company’s corporate membership, please contact the Membership Committee.
How do I change my company's / organization's PCM?
Please contact us with any updates or changes related to the PCM.

Individual membership
Can a student or retired person join ITS Midwest as an individual?
Yes, check out the information on Individual Membership for details.
I am considering to renew or apply for an individual membership. Is there something I should do prior to applying/renewing?
BEFORE proceeding with your new individual membership application or individual membership renewal, please check the current list of ITS Midwest Corporate Members.
1) If your company or organization is listed as a current Corporate Member, please contact the Membership Committee and ask for the Primary Contact within your organization so that you can request from them to be added under the Corporate Membership.
2) If your company or organization is NOT listed as a current Corporate Member, please contact the Membership Committee and ask if an individual membership already exists under your company’s name. ITS Midwest bylaws permit only one individual member per company. Should multiple memberships be required, we invite you to consider our corporate membership option, which allows for an unlimited number of members from the same company or organization. The Membership Committee will be happy to guide you through the application process.
