The "Talking Freight" seminars are part of a broader Freight Professional Development Program aimed at providing technical assistance, training, tools, and information to help the freight and planning workforce meet the transportation challenges of tomorrow.
Certified Optical Network Associate (CONA)
This five-day instructor-led course by The Light Brigade examines how to design, plan, and implement cost-effective, high-speed networks from single channel systems to multiple channel options using CWDM and DWDM. Attendees will work together on interactive design projects to establish requirements for proper system performance and determine how the network can be affected by the properties of the physical infrastructure.
National Highway Institute (NHI)
As the training and education arm of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the National Highway Institute (NHI) has a long and rich history of innovation and expertise in delivering transportation training. NHI offers Instructor-led training from short, 1-day courses to multi-week sessions. The training is delivered by experienced practitioners considered to be experts in their fields. NHI is recognized as an accredited training provider by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET), so participants can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for NHI training courses.

CITE Blended Courses
The Consortium for Innovative Transportation Education (CITE) is a unique organization of university and industry partners with a set of shared goals and beliefs. CITE believes in furthering the goals of safety and reliability in the transportation system through training and education. CITE’s online courses provide quality, relevant materials and instruction that engage and enhance the learning process, leading to lasting retention. Transportation Research Board (TRB) Webinars

FHWA ATSPM
