Committee Goals
The Education Committee provides support in the development and coordination of the education program and related activities. The events planned by this committee will encompass webinars, and joint events with other professional organizations. The Committee provides outreach, experience, and education to professionals and students in the ITS field. Activities planned offer opportunities to earn Professional Development Hours.

Workforce Development
The Workforce Development subcommittee will be structured under the Education Committee and is tasked with organizing content with varying degrees of complexity to be shared during in-person workforce events throughout the ITS Midwest region. The focus is intended to examine content and approaches to provide transportation technology education to a variety of focus groups, including high school, college, and upskilling our current ITS workforce.
